Welcome to Travelling Minions!

My name is Chris, just an average guy with a passion and desire to explore what this world has to offer!  I caught the travelling bug at a very young age when my parents, every summer would take my sister and I on trips.  We would pile into our small RV and drive all over North America.
I remember the long drives between destinations, discovering small towns and attractions I probably would never have visited had it not been for that form of travel.  It gave me appreciation that it truly is about the journey rather than arriving at the destination and the times spent hours cooped up in such a confined space will be memories I hold onto forever! Nowadays, I realize that there is just so much to this world that there will always be somewhere new to go, or even something new to see in places I’ve been.  And so as I embark on these journeys, I wanted a place to keep my memories, experiences and possibly allow others to share in them as well!  Thus Travelling Minions was born!

Why “Travelling Minions”?

It all started when McDonald’s started selling small Despicable Me minions toys with their Happy Meals! My sister was enamored by the cute little helpers, we ended up buying a few. They were small, cute and pretty unique and to add some “character” to our travels we decided to bring them along.  After that initial trip, the minions soon found their way into my luggage on every trip I’ve taken!  Hopefully you enjoy their travels as much as I’ve enjoyed travelling with them!
